These pads are super sticky - they remind me of those little jelly decorations that you could stick on windows, etc. but way stickier. It's strong enough to hold up my Nexus 5. I would not use this on drywall though - I have a feeling that it would ripe the paint and top layers off of the drywall before the sticky pad would release from the wall. I've been using it in the shower so I can watch the morning news while I shower.
I wasn't sure about these, but I wanted to try them to hold my phone to the cabinet while I'm cooking.
To test this, I took a plastic package that contained a 20 inch chainsaw blade (which is heavier than my phone by far). The fixate pad held the package to the cabinet all night (12hrs) with no slipping, movement, or drooping.
I'm impressed. I plan on using these to hold up all my electronics to the wall so charging will be less chaotic.
